With the MultyVision family, TechniSat is introducing a new range of slim design digital TVs. An elegant remote control concept and completely streamlined user interface ensure maximum user comfort. Naturally, the MultyVision series also offers classic TechniSat series highlights, such as dual HDTV multi-tuners capable of receiving all digital reception methods, an integrated digital VCR and the diversity of interfaces that have become the brand's hallmark.

Integrated dual HDTV multi-tuner
The eLED MultyVision full HD digital TV has an integrated dual HDTV multi-tuner as standard, making it possible to receive TV and radio channels via digital satellite, DVB-T and digital cable without the need for an additional receiver. You can also use the integrated CONAX encryption system and smartcard reader to receive Pay TV programmes.

All-round perfect design
The MultyVision is a real design highlight. Use of the most up-to-date eLED technology means that the TVs have an extremely flat screen with brilliant, razor-sharp pictures.

Intuitive remote control concept for ease of use
The easy-to-use “TechniControl Plus” high quality aluminium remote control unit has clearly arranged buttons to provide quick and convenient access to all functions. The optimised remote control even makes navigation through the Internet functions user-friendly and intuitive. The Remoty Plus remote control is also included in the delivery – compact yet packed with all the essential functions.

Digital video recorder function (DVR)
This range of TVs also offers an integrated hard drive and digital video recorder function for recording digital TV and radio programmes. Thanks to the TWIN functionality integrated as standard, it is also possible to record one programme to the 500GB hard drive while simultaneously watching another programme.

Wide range of connection options
The MultyVision comes with a wide range of connection options, making the receiver a real multimedia centre. Besides three HDMI In interfaces and one HDMI Out interface, the TV also has 2 USB 2.0 ports. The integrated Ethernet connection (optionally also via WLAN adapter) enables the digital TV to be easily integrated into a home network so that various multimedia devices such as a PC, TV, audio sound appliance, digital camera etc can be networked via UPnP.

Extensive added-value services for particular ease of use
In the MultyVision range, TechniSat has again added to the tried and tested added value services that make the TVs easy and convenient to use. Hence, for example, you can use the free electronic programme information guide EPG to access detailed programme information for up to seven days in advance at the push of a button. The channel list manager enables automatic updating of the channel lists and likewise informs you when channels are switched on or off via satellite. Furthermore the TVs have the TechniFamily function. This function enables parents to control their children’s viewing when necessary and without great effort.

‘Made in Germany’ quality and a 5-year guarantee
TechniSat digital TVs are made in Germany. They are developed at the TechniSat Research and Development Centre in Dresden, and produced in Stassfurt, the largest TechniSat production facility in Germany. TechniSat supplies all MultyVision range digital TVs with a 5-year guarantee (3 years’ full warranty on registering the product with TechniSat and an additional 2 years’ parts warranty, excluding the screen and remote control).

Dual HDTV multi-tuner
TVs with an integrated dual HDTV multi-tuner receive TV and radio channels via every transmission path - satellite (DVB-S), cable (DVB-C) and antenna (DVB-T) - without needing an extra receiver, even with the new HDTV. Using the dual receiver, you can have one channel on and view another in parallel, or record two HDTV channels simultaneously.

"SiehFern INFO Plus" (SFI+)
This extended electronic programme information service (ePID) allows TechniSat to offer a free current and comprehensive overview of a large number of channels. The programme preview extends up to seven days and has been extended to include a search function, a sorting function for genres and (with satellite reception) picture material on selected programmes. The timers can be activated quickly and easily via SiehFern INFO Plus.

ISIPRO
The free TechniSat channel list manager does away with tedious manual channel scanning. When channels change frequency or switch on/off, this service provides an automatic way of updating the list of channels available. This process runs if you have agreed to updating. Customised lists are retained and amended where necessary.

TechniMatic
This free updating service from TechniSat keeps the software on your device up to date. As soon as enhancements or improvements to the operating software are available, the set carries out an automatic software update at the appropriate time (adjustable in the menu on the TV). This ensures a high level of future-security and a wider and improved range of functions.

AutoInstall
When using the TV for the first time you must create a few important settings (specifically adaptation to local conditions). Clear instructions from the installation wizard provided by TechniSat guide you through easy-to-understand dialogues, enabling you to carry out the required configuration easily and rapidly. Your TV will therefore be ready for use in a short time.

TechniFamily
TechniFamily can be used to set up password-protected user profiles. Customised access options and restrictions can be defined for each profile, e.g. for selected channels, daily television viewing times and a maximum duration of use. In this way parents can adjust viewing behaviour as appropriate for the child.

Full HD
Full HD means that an HDTV is able to show the highest HD resolution, (currently) 1920 x 1080 pixels. This corresponds to a picture containing over 2 million pixels. The high quality screens used by TechniSat display this resolution perfectly, so that, with this resolution capability, an exceptionally detailed and clear picture is achieved with spatial definition.

100% pixel error free
To achieve the best picture results, TechniSat only uses selected screens - “Best Screens” - in manufacturing its LCD digital TVs. These are guaranteed not to display any pixel errors.

DVR
An integrated digital video recorder (DVR) enables you to record digital TV and radio programmes without loss of quality. Besides recording and playing back TV and radio programmes, digital technology enables use of a wide range of additional handy features such as time-shifted television (Timeshift).

Timeshift
This very handy and popular type of recording enables you to start playing back while you are still recording. Hence recording and playback take place simultaneously. Recordings being played back can be stopped at any time and resumed again later. It is also possible to repeat favourite scenes and skip over unwanted sections. You can now set the start time and progress of a programme yourself.

2 x Common Interface (CI+)
This TV has two Common Interfaces (CI+). These are (common) interfaces used in combination with a CI+ module and corresponding SmartCard, to enable access to encrypted programming such as Pay TV or Pay Radio.

Universal Plug And Play (UPnP)
This TV can be easily integrated into a home network via the integrated Ethernet interface (with optional additional WLAN adapter), enabling various multi-media devices such as a PC, TV, hi-fi, digital cameras and much more to be interconnected by UPnP/DLNA.

Conax
Integrated Conax decryption system with SmartCard reader for receiving Pay TV and Pay Radio programming.

Network interface
A network interface can be used to connect the device to the home network via, for example, a DSL router.

PIP function
The Picture in Picture (PIP) function enables the TV picture for one channel to be minimised and shown at the edge of the screen while another is watched on the main TV screen.

DolbyDigital+
With HD, DVD, Blu-ray playback or TV programmes that are broadcast in Dolby Digital Plus, the optical or electrical digital output can be connected to a Dolby Digital amplifier unit. Dolby Digital Plus offers improved sound precision, more channels and more powerful coding for optical data storage.

Dolby Digital (AC-3)
This TV has optical and/or electrical connections for playing digital sound in Dolby Digital (AC-3).

HDMI 3x
Three high performance interfaces are provided especially for extremely fast digital transmission of high-resolution pictures and sophisticated sound without loss. Even complex picture content and fast-moving sequences are displayed in first-class quality. Besides their high performance capability, HDMI connections are distinguished by bidirectional data transmission.
