Liebert PowerSure Personal XT Offline 450VA UPS System Thanks to the new PowerSure Personal XT you can have continuous cost-effective power protection in your office or home.
It is specifically designed to protect PCs, Workstations, Network Nodes and also Fax, Scanners and Audio/Video equipment.
If the mains supply fails or moves outside an acceptable level, the PowerSure Personal XT offers up to 20 minutes of battery back up (depending on the actual load), giving ample time to protect the equipment and save files through Liebert’s WEB based Multilink Software.

Protection up to 1250 VA
The PowerSure Personal XT is available in 3 power ratings: 450, 700, 1250 VA and covers all the applications from single PCs to network nodes through multiple workstation.

The smallest ups in its range
The high frequency design of the PowerSure Personal XT results in a very compact UPS. It can operate on your desk or on the floor, in vertical or horizontal position, protecting your computer equipment and
your data using very little space.

Plug and play
The PowerSure Personal XT is very easy to use: the simple operation and the two LEDs provide you clear and complete information about the UPS status.

Serial (RS232) and USB communication Features
450 and 700 VA ratings are also available in Serial + USB configuration. The Serial communication allows to fully benefit from all the variuos monitoring features of Multilink Software and related scheduled actions. The USB communication, initially operating only through Windows 2000 / XP native Power Manager, will be soon fully supported by MultiLink Software. The USB port will offer a much faster data exchange (up to 7 times faster than Serial port), the capability to conect the UPS to a USB pheripherals chain (very common in current PC
configurations), hot swapping capabilities, automatic detection of the UPS (when managed through Windows 2000 / XP).

The PowerSure Personal XT comes complete with: User Manual, two output power cords communication cables, Multilink software CD.

Little maintenance
The PowerSure Personal XT requires very little maintenance: only the 5-years battery requires replacement. An automatic battery test verifies
battery conditions and, if they are bad, a specific alarm is activaded.

Output connection flexibility
The PowerSure Personal XT is equipped with up to four UPS protected output sockets to allow the maximum of flexibility in connecting several loads.

Phone and network surge suppression sockets
Surge sockets protect sensible hardware against voltage surges coming from lines (such as modem, fax, phone, network connections) which can seriously damage comms ports, motherboards, etc...

Direct and remote monitoring
The contact closure or serial DB9 port and the USB port together with MultiLink Software (provided) allow you to monitor your PowerSure Personal XT or to shut down your PC directly through the cable (provided) or remotely through the Net.

More features
Standard features include automatic battery test and “autorestart” function (the UPS automatically restarts when mains comes back after an extended outage and full discharge of the battery). Audible and visual alarms for mains failure, low battery, UPS overload, short circuit,
and over temperature are available.
