The Secvest 2WAY wireless accessory module is an optional accessory for your Secvest. The wireless accessory module (WAM) can also be integrated into wired systems, such as the Terxon SX and Terxon MX, allowing additional wireless components to be used in wired alarm systems. The module features 6 main functions:
- Repeater module (doubles the range): The WAM forwards signals from up to 8 sensors to the alarm panel. This virtually doubles the wireless transmission range.
- Output modules (e.g. home automation): Up to 4 outputs (switching capacity 500 mA) in the WAM are activated for programmed events.
- Transmission/reception module: In addition to the 4 outputs, the alarm inputs on the WAM (1 x alarm, 1 x sabotage) are put to use.
- Sounder module: The WAM can be used to connect an external sounder (siren & flashing light) to the Secvest (a wired siren will then also respond to wireless signals).
- Siren transmitter/receiver: The WAM can be used to integrate a wireless siren into a wired alarm system.
- Reception module: Using a WAM, 8 wireless components can be integrated into any wired system. The WAM receives the signals from the wireless detector, and activates the alarm system. This allows the Secvest detectors to be integrated into the Terxon alarm control panel.
The WAM is powered by a 12 V power supply unit.
