MERLIN, FOLDING BACKPACK Handy foldaway backpack downsizes into a compact PALS compatible packet

The MERLIN™ Folding Backpack is a light-weight "escape-and-evasion" style backpack that folds into itself to form a small PALS-compatible packet which can be attached to your belt or the exterior PALS webbing of other Maxpedition® bags using #9903 3" TACTIE® and #9905 5" TACTIE ATTACHMENT STRAPS. When unfolded, the main compartment of the pack will hold approximately 1080 cu. in. of gear. A separate rear compartment with Hook-&-Loop enclosure and internal top D-Ring attachment point is able to accommodate a 100oz/3L hydration reservoir (not included) or flat items such as maps, travel documents, folded towel, or jacket. Dual upper and lower exterior front pockets allow for organization of smaller items. Our unique zipper pull limiter system allows user to adjust the direction of lower pocket opening depending on the pack's folded or unfolded state. Important note: the body of the Merlin™ backpack is made from tough 420-Denier coated nylon fabric for flexibility and easy folding. Frontal pockets are made from 1000-Denier coated nylon fabric.
