What is the difference between VIVAX and regular NiMH batteries?

Vivax is a new generation of NiMH batteries, which unites the advantages of one-way batteries with rechargeable batteries. Vivax cells are pre-loaded and can be used immediately.

In the opposite of conventional NiMH batteries, the Vivax batteries are nearly free of stand-by discharge. After 1 year stand-by they provide still a capacity of about 85%!

VIVAX batteries are developed especially for a substantially longer power output also at low temperatures. With a digital camera fully charged Vivax batteries can last up to four times longer as conventional alkaline batteries.

VIVAX batteries are an environment-friendly alternative to normal batteries. Every year several thousand tons of consumed batteries are thrown away and disposed with cost of many millions Euros.

VIVAX batteries can be charged up to 1000 times. VIVAX batteries can be used everywhere instead of conventional batteries. They don’t need a special charger.
