This set, including the walimex pro UV Filter and the walimex pro CPL Filter, primarily provides protection for your lens, but also reduces reflections and prevents from disturbing UV radiation.
As both filters can be used at the same time, the UV Filter should be attached onto the lens and the CPL Filter onto the UV Filter. Reflections can be reduced only by rotating the CPL Filter.
The walimex pro UV Filter provides protection for the front lens of your lens and protects non-coated lenses against UV radiation. The Filter has an additional inside thread, whereby you can screw on further filters. Through the use of UV blocking filters it is possible to block UV radiation up to 390nm. Therefore, your pictures achieve more contrast and sharpness, defects in colour will be avoided. An adjustment of your exposure adjustments is not necessary with UV blocking filters.
The walimex pro Polarizing Filter prevents disturbing reflections on reflective surfaces like sheet glass or water surfaces. Through the use of this filter you will enhance colour saturation and contrast significantly. The metal frame possesses an additional filter thread, whereby it is possible to use several filters together.
