The slim and compact EX-H30 can take up to 1000 photos without needing to be recharged, making it ideal for travel and holidays. In addition to the Single Frame SR zoom, the camera also features an 18.8x zoom and offers optimum image quality-even for high-resolution shots-with 16.1 megapixels. Thanks to its 24-mm wide-angle lens with mechanical image stabiliser, the camera successfully captures sweeping landscapes, group photos from short distances and details in close-up shots. On top of this wide range of features, this compact travel camera also benefits from the Slide Panorama mode for panorama images, HD video recording including optical zoom during filming and the Silent Mode for environments in which a flash or shutter noise could create a disturbance.

- Red Eye-Reduction: reduces the "red eye effect"
- Auto: flash is switched on automatically when required
- On: flash always switched on

Silent Mode
Do not disturb!
Whether you are in a church or museum, on safari, or just don't want to disturb the people around you, with the EX-H30 it's easy to take photos and record films without making a sound. The camera is equipped with a Silent Mode, which can be activated at the touch of a button and prevents the camera from flashing and making a sound when the shutter is pressed. Perfect for all environments in which noises could create a disturbance.

Photo Formats
It's your choice
You're in charge – you can choose between 3:2, 4:3 and 16:9 formats. That is particularly practical if you will be showing your pictures on a screen, television or video projector with this format. The 3:2 format is the classic format for photos. With the aid of the 4:3 format you can admire your photos on the TV or on your PC. The 16:9 format is best suited to plasma and LCD-televisions.

Eco mode
Save energy at the touch of a button
The Eco mode allows you to switch very easily to the energy-saving mode on your EXILIM camera. When this mode is activated by pressing the Eco mode button, the colour display luminance decreases and the energy consumption of other camera functions is reduced. In this way, the Eco mode makes it possible to take even more photos on a single battery charge.

12.5x optical zoom with mechanical image stabiliser
Powerful zoom function
It's easy to zoom in on those special moments: The 12.5x optical zoom can bring even the most distant subjects right up close, while the mechanical image stabiliser automatically reduces blurring. The EX-H30 has everything you need for any situation and guarantees outstanding photos. The Single Frame SR Zoom increases the maximum focal range of the optical zoom by 150%, transforming a 12.5x optical zoom into a powerful 18.8x zoom.

24 mm wide-angle lens

The combination of 24 mm wide-angle lens* and 10x optical zoom makes the EX-H30 the perfect companion for every occasion, providing great scope to capture your loved ones, the most beautiful sights or a romantic sunset. With the 24-mm focal length, you can capture a larger area and, for example, include more friends in a group photo at a shorter distance, or photograph a complete landscape or skyline.

Panorama function

Expand your field of vision and discover new perspectives. Whether it's a magnificent panorama of the Alps, a group photo of whatever kind, or an exciting urban scene — the panorama function of the EX-H30 gives you extremely wide panorama images with a huge field of vision of up to 240 degrees. Even when the camera pans, moving objects and faces are recognised and the images adapted such that distortions and blurring are kept to a minimum.

New: enhanced Premium Auto mode
Photography really can be super simple
Whether it is a portrait, landscape or night shot that you want to take, or if the lighting conditions and backlighting are challenging, the EXILIM EX-H30 allows you to focus your full attention on your subject. And it is the Premium Auto mode that makes this possible. In this mode, the camera automatically recognises typical subject situations and adjusts the settings accordingly. Depending on the exposure conditions, BEST SHOT modes such as Auto BEST SHOT, Night shot without tripod, Make-up mode, Landscape mode or Intelligent AF are activated. This ensures that movements, shaking and even people's faces are detected automatically, and then perfectly focused and exposed. The camera can also automatically correct the brightness in underexposed areas of the image — ideal for subjects featuring extreme contrasts or backlighting. You don't need to worry which BEST SHOT mode is best for the situation; you can just focus your full attention on your subject and take some impressive photos. The EXILIM Zoom EX-H30 is equipped with a separate Premium Auto mode button for quick activation and deactivation of the function.

Make-up Mode
Feel like a model
The EXILIM Hi-Zoom EX-H30 also features a Make-up Mode Function for especially appealing portrait photographs. The outstanding image processing makes the skin on faces appear smoother and softens facial shadows caused by strong sunlight or illumination. You can select from twelve levels as desired – from minimum to maximum – and observe the effect on the TFT colour display while taking the photo.

The EX-H30 is equipped with a landscape mode for outstanding landscape photos. The "Vivid Landscape" feature analyses the images and intensifies the key colours. In addition, the "Mist Removal" option automatically reduces clouding, haziness or mist. The outcome is a clearer landscape or skyline with sharp contours and a bright sky.

The Face Detection function now offers the perfect solution, recognizing the individual faces or even entire groups, and automatically applying the best possible setting.
