External 4 HDD case USB 2.0 for 3.5" IDE HDD with internal PSU 4x HDD Box with JBOD (Just A Bunch Of Disk) mode: Combining multiple physical disk drives into a single virtual one. 2 to 4 disks can be merely concatenated, end to beginning, so they appear to be a single large disk. Used to turn several odd-sized drives into one useful drive. For example JBOD could use a 300GB, 500GB, 400GB and 200GB drive to combine into a logical drive at 1.4TB (max. up to 2TB), which is often more useful than the individual drives separately.
