"LockUp" uses the secret AES (Advanced Encryption standard), 256bit hardware encryption algorithm, which is also used by the U.S. government. With this algorithm, it's possible to read any data on your hard disk or to decode it, even if it's connected to any computer systems or other devices. "LockUp" runs independent on all operating systems and requires no software installation and does not reduce the transfer rate when it's in the safety mode. "LockUp" has currently the highest speed support via 32-bit controller, and not like any other external storage devices with an 8-bit controller. All functions are very simple and easy to use. The display shows five different steps on a red LED and four blue LEDs and let you know in which menu you are currently in operation. "LockUp" also has a special and unique feature: It can be used not only on all operating systems, but also on all other devices (e.g. Media Player, TV, etc.) which support an USB connection. Another great feature is the "Mount / Un-mount” function. You just have to press the menu button for 2 seconds. Then you can connect "LockUp" to the device or disconnect it. You shouldn't use this function during data transmission, because your data could be lost.
