LED for Cable Cubby US, USB The Cable Cubby® 100 is a compact, round furniture-mountable cable access enclosure for AV connectivity and AC or USB power. Ideal for single-user applications, it has connectivity openings for two single-space Mini Architectural Adapter Plates - MAAPs or three AV cables. The Cable Cubby 100 enclosure without power holds an additional two MAAPs. The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit includes an integrated pushbutton switch for "Show Me," push to talk, or mute mic applications. Cable Cubby 100 enclosures are designed to allow service of cables and MAAPs from the top after installation. Its round shape makes installation fast and simple using a 4" (102 mm) hole saw. A cover plate conceals mounting screws giving a refined appearance. The Cable Cubby 100 is available in black.

The Cable Cubby 100 is equipped with a number of Extron-exclusive, integration friendly features for fast assembly and installation. It includes standard connectivity brackets for mounting four MAAPs, or two MAAPs and up to three AV cables. The Cable Cubby 100’s modular design allows cables and MAAPs to be installed or serviced from the top of the enclosure after it is installed. The Cable Pass-Through Bracket features a unique, split-ring design that facilitates cable installation while eliminating the need for separate cable grommets. To support the growing use of smartphones and tablets in AV presentation environments, the Cable Cubby 100 with USB power provides two 5 VDC USB power outlets with 2.1 A / 10.5 watts of total power for charging mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Its convenient round design eliminates the need to measure or use a routing template, making installation quick and easy using a standard four inch (102 mm) hole saw.

The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit features a one-button contact closure panel for “Show Me,” push to talk, or mute mic applications. The brushed stainless steel pushbutton features a raised surface for ease of access and tactile feedback, and an LED ring that provides illumination for visual feedback. Users can easily select inputs directly from the Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit, without having to use the switcher’s front panel controls. The Cable Cubby 100 Switch Kit is compatible with Cable Cubby 100 US, Cable Cubby 100 USB, and Cable Cubby 100 cable access enclosures.

To quickly customize power and AV connectivity selections for a Cable Cubby 100 installation, the Cable Cubby Series/2 Builder is an interactive tool that guides the user through the selection of AC power modules, AV connectivity, cables, and installation accessories. As you build your Cable Cubby, a bill of materials is prepared automatically. When you’re finished, the Builder allows you to review your Cable Cubby and make any last minute changes before placing your order (dealer login required).
