Kettleballs are synonymous with full-body fitness like no other fitness device, as they combine many fitness components such as strength and endurance, heart and circulation, and flexibility and body control. They strengthen and stabilize your mid-section in particular and quickly build up muscle. The free exercises with the kettleball ideally transfer the benefits of working with the kettleball to your daily life in terms of strength and movement requirements - such as carrying crates or storing heavy items.
The kettleballs have a grand history. Bodybuilders in Germany have been familiar with the kettleball since the end of the 19th century, when the kettleballs were primarily used in gym associations for group exercises. Kettleballs were used in the circus to demonstrate the strength of the artists. But the kettleball did not become part of the general conversation again until 2000, as many elite and special military and police units started using the kettleballs - which had still been used over the years for strength-training in Russia - and bodybuilders and fitness athletes then followed this functional workout alternative.
There is a reason that, after all these years, the kettleball still looks like a cannonball with a handle. Thanks to the broad handle the iron kettleballs can be grabbed with one or two hands and lifted into the air, held and pulled for all sorts of exercises. Since the kettleballs are free weights, they do not strain individual muscle groups. Instead they always work the entire body. Each exercise is always simultaneously a coordination exercise.
The goal when working with kettleballs is primarily to build up functional strength, explosive strength and stability and to strengthen the cardiovascular system as well as the tendons and ligaments. Working with the kettleballs strengthens your torso muscles in particular and improves body stability. The relatively high weight of the kettleballs makes them very useful for building up your strength and burning fat in a way that focuses on power.
The kettleballs from HAMMER are available in 4, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 20kg and - with the exception of the 20kg kettleball - are painted in high-gloss black. The kettleball is extremely mobile and does not take up a lot of space. This means you can always use it according to your individual needs.
