The video surveillance card is used to view and save all images captured by your cameras to a PC. The only restriction to recording time is the storage capacity of the hard disks. Analog and network cameras can be integrated into this system. This PCI card allows connecting 8 cameras to your PC. Video signals are compressed into MPEG4 or MJPEG format. Up to 25 pictures/second can be viewed on the PC. This is equivalent to 3.1 pictures/second if 8 cameras have been connected.
The included Express version of the VMS video management software allows you to operate the system and realize a wide range of settings. For example: Selection of resolution, selection of streams to be recorded from individual cameras, live display of all views (on one or two monitors given an appropriate graphics card), definition of a weekly recording schedule, password protection and much more. You can simultaneously record video signals, view live images, play back existent recordings and access individual cameras via the network.
