7-Port USB 2.0 HUB – Mobile freedom with plenty of comfort - Tower 2.0 Practical and sophisticated Notebook equipment is a necessity when wanting to work effectively while mobile. Up to seven external USB devices can be connected to a Notebook and powered simultaneously via the especially compact 7-port USB 2.0 HUB. This ensures perfect convenience for the user. The specialty: DICOTA’s new Tower 2.0 offers the possibility of connecting and disconnecting single tools without having to shut down the operating system (Hot Swapping). With this, mobile freedom and functionality are united in a light-weight and compact device.
Tower 2.0 supports the USB standard 2.0 (downwards compatible to USB 1.1), whereas the data transfer rate of 480 Mbps is 40 times higher than with USB standard 1.1. Due to its minimal weight of only 150 grams and handy size of 90 x 65 x 25 mm the Tower 2.0 is guaranteed to find room in any case. It is easily connected with the included USB 2.0 cable provided, and installs itself thanks to Plug & Play. The USB 2.0 devices are identified by Plug & Play as well and do not require a troublesome installation. The easy-to-use operation makes this compact device the perfect companion for uncomplicated use on the road. Matching the outfit of other DICOTA mobile equipment, the Tower is kept in elegant black/silver.
