8 dots/mm (203 dpi), 200 mm/sec, 152 mm (6”), 1249 mm (49.2”), 410 m, 18 MB RAM, 4 MB Flash, RS232, IEEE1284 (ECP) Printing labels has never been easier or quicker with the CL series; with the high speed throughput power of these enhanced printers, it simply means that "time to first label" is almost instantaneous! These 6" wide printers are ideal for printing pallet labels up to A5 in size, and come with a choice of 203dpi or 305dpi printheads but also have an internal memory which can be expanded to save an immense number of True Type™, graphics and formats. In addition, you also have a choice of interface boards: LAN, USB, IEEE1284 or the high speed RS-232C.

Create and print labels up to a full 6" wide (7" overall width) at speeds of up to 8" per second with the CL608e/CL612e wide web industrial printers! The 6" wide printhead makes it possible to print large format compliance labels at top speed without rotating the images.

Throughput - The CL"e" Series printers set new benchmarks in label throughput. A new generation RISC processor provides high performance in label production even when printing directly from standard Windows® applications.

Memory - The CL"e" Series printers come with a full 18 MB of on-board memory STANDARD! Enough memory for storing multiple fonts, graphics, formats etc. without the need for optional 4 MB of Flash memory or an additional 16 MB of PCMCIA memory may be added.

Windows® Compatible - Users still have the option of producing high-quality labels by using either SATO's native command language (JCL) or quality label design and production software such as SATO's Label Wizard. Now, the ability to easily and efficiently produce labels direct from Windows® applications such as WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, etc. is also an option.

Interface Connections - Choose from one of SATO's standard high-speed, bi-directional Plug-In Interface Modules: IEEE1284 Parallel, or High-Speed Serial (up to 57.6k bps). Also available are optional Plug-In Interface Modules for Twinax/Coax and Ethernet (10/100BaseT) and RS422/485.
