User friendly design is a key concept in Lian Li chassis design. The external structure, user interface, and internal frame have all been tested to meet Lian Li’s high quality standards.
PC-8N has special safety features such as folded edges at strategic points to prevent sharp edges hurting users.
Fine Craft Products
Classic Style, Simple and Clean cut design and shape. Using 1.5mm thick aluminum panels formed with the unique hair-line brushed anodized aluminum finishing.
PC-8N have very simple and functional thermal design, intake the cold air from the front, and exhaust the hot air at the rear.
Silent Performance
To make the system silent, and at the same time, to keep it cool, PC-8N features a 12cm ball-bearing fan which runs at 1200RPM, to have big volume of air flow, and quiet.
Lian Li designers consider every detail. The PC-8N is equipped with anti-vibration clips and grommets on the chassis, to absorb the noises created by vibrating and spinning parts. The EMI spring on the top cover absorbs the vibrations, without interfering with the side panel.
Chassis has anti-vibration grommets to support the motherboard tray. The anti-vibration spring clips on the chassis push against the side panel to reduce the chance of vibration, while enhancing the perfect fit between the removable parts.
PC-8N features Lian Li patented Anti-virbation HDD cage, which allow user to fit three of 3.5" HDD. It is easy to use, no tool required, simply using the special thrumb screw to secure the anti-vibration rubber ring to the HDD, and slide the HDD into the cage.
Thermal Solution
There is a 120mm ball-bearing intake fan to input cold air into the chassis, and it only runs at 1200RPM, it can move alot of air volume, and silent too.
There is one 120mm exhaust fan at the rear of the chassis, it runs at 1200RPM, silent and still can move a good volume of air.
The PCI bracket with vent holes adds extra ventilation possibilities for improved airflow for optional graphics card coolers.
User Friendly Design
Multi-media port connectors follow international specification standards, with one connector for easy installation.
USB port, Audio supports HD Audio or AC97 Audio. The dual design is for better compatibility options. All I/O ports on the front panel, allow for easy access.
There are protector install in the inside panels to protect user's hand.
PC-8N's front panel can be easily removed, with all the switches and wires mounted in the chassis, and therefore out of the way.
Top cover can be removed via four easy to reach screws. Ideal for modding projects.
There is a 3.5" drive bay cage on the front panel, user can install 2.5" HDD on it.
