The enormous case offers not only lots of space for your projects, but also new and innovative technologies, like the “Active Air Chimney” to actively improve the ventilation of the case.

In response to numerous requests from our loyal customers, we offer the Deep Silence 6 in a special variant with an elegant window side panel as well. The acrylic glass is elaborately integrated into the side panel. Thanks to the generous window the view into the interior of the case is focused on the essential, optical accents. For water cooling enthusiasts, case modder, or simply for those who simply want more "insight" into the case interior, this is definitely the right case.

The Deep Silence 6 is similar in exterior design to the first model of our case series. The front of the case is equipped with two soundproof doors: Behind the upper cover the user will find four 5.25 inch bays, a 2-channel fan control (with sliders), as well as the reset-button. Behind the second door, two low-noise 140 mm Nanoxia fans are mounted. Magnets integrated in the doors ensure a fast closing and easy opening.

The I/O-panel can be found on the top cover of the case. As many as 4 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, Mic, and Audio connectors are available. The panel can easily be embedded in the cover if the connectors are not needed. The cover also mounts the unique “Active Air Chimney” for effective, active case ventilation. Again, this is easily retractable. This ensures that the simple look of the case is maintained, without sacrificing useful features and options for ventilation.

You can mount HTPX, E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards in the Deep Silence 6. Almost noiseless

In the course of the many years of development work, the focus was always on two requirements: minimize noise and minimize system temperatures.

As with all the Deep Silence cases, the side panels and top cover are fitted with specially designed, noise reducing insulation materials to minimize and absorb any noises. The left side panel has been lined with a special combination of bitumen and foam, for a very efficient reduction of airborne noise emissions. The solid front doors use sound absorbing materials contribute significantly to the most effective noise reduction.

The hard disk drives of the Deep Silence 6 are mounted using rubber suspension, in order to absorb vibrations that might arise during startup and to minimize annoying background noises. The power supply rests on rubber mounts, with a suspension frame available on the back. The case stands on rubber suspended feet – vibrations are completely compensated.

The Deep Silence 6 is manufactured from 1.0 mm thick steel. By using the highest quality materials, optimal noise insulation is ensured while providing a very stable case.

Also responsible for the quietness of the case are the five pre-installed Nanoxia fans of the brand new “Deep Silence” series. This fan-series was optimized for the best possible mix of silence and cooling capacity. The Deep Silence 6 case is fitted with a 2-channel fan control for up to 8 fans.

The unique Nanoxia Air can be left closed during normal operations, in order to preserve the clean look of the case line. If need be, the Air Chimney can, as easily as switching a button, be set to provide actively enhanced case ventilation. By opening the Air Chimney, the preinstalled 140 mm fans are switched on and help vent the case quickly and effectively. Upon closing the Air Chimneys, the fans are deactivated as well.

Intelligent ventilation system

The ventilation system of the Deep Silence 6 is designed for the most demanding users and can be extended generous.

Behind the front cover, two 140 mm fans rotate at a maximum of 1,100 RPM. The fans are located in special swiveling brackets which allow for simple removal of the fans and easy access to the serial dust filters. Another fan with 1,100 RPM is located in the rear of the case.

At 14.4 dB(a), the Nanoxia Deep Silence 140 – 1100 fans generate an air flow of about 68.5 CFM and a static air pressure of 1.08 mm H²O.

Thanks to the integrated fan control for up to eight fans, an individual compromise between low system temperatures and the lowest possible noise level can be achieved, even with a full fan assembly.

The innovative Nanoxia Active Air Chimney makes it easy to adapt the case to your needs. Under extreme conditions you can counteract heat generation under the top cover effectively: The two pre-installed fans under the cover will be automatically enabled if the chimney is opened. Thus the warm air is dissipated quickly and effectively from the case. When the air chimney is closed, the fans will be switched off again.

You can mount a total of three 120 or 140 mm fans under the top cover and operate them with the Active Air Chimney.

In order to optimize the cooling of the graphics card, two additional 120 or 140 mm fans can be mounted in the left side panel. At the bottom of the case, either one 140 mm or two 120 mm fans can be accommodated. All air intake openings of the case equipped with effective dust filters.

A unique feature of the Deep Silence 6 is the special designed Mounting Bracket. It is fitted to the hard disk cage and can be easily dismounted. With the bracket, the ventilation of the hard drives and the entire system can be increased significantly, if desired. It is suited for up to two 120/140 mm fans. The vast interior space of the Nanoxia Deep Silence 6 ensures that no space problems can occur here. The Mounting Bracket is perfectly suited to mount a 120/140 mm or 240/280 mm radiator and equip it with up to four fans.

Watercooling Ready

The Deep Silence 6 was developed for the most demanding water cooling projects. The top cover offers special lateral attachment points which provide maximum compatibility, especially when using very thick radiators. Those can be used to install 120/140/240/280 and 360 mm radiators. Thanks to the immense space available you can operate even massive radiators in a push-pull mode with fans on both sides.

The mounting bracket behind the HDD-cage allows the internal assembly of a water cooling system (120/140 or 240/280 mm radiator) and up to four fans between HDD cage and motherboard - without colliding with the motherboard or power supply. Radiators may thus be cooled without case modifications in a push-pull set-up. In conjunction with the two pre-installed 140 mm Deep Silence fans behind the front up to six fans provide for a superior cooling performance of the water cooling system.

Versatile Features

The Nanoxia Deep Silence 6 offers a variety of very convenient product features:

A special feature of the case is the mounts for the front fans. Behind the lower door, 2 dust filter equipped holding frames can be found, each receiving one of the 140 mm fan. A simple pressure on the holding frame (it works using the push-pin principle) releases the anchoring, the flap can be opened, and dust filter and fan can be removed and cleaned very easily. It's that simple!

As can be expected, the optical drives can be mounted without requiring tools. Two 5.25 inch to 3.5 inch adaptor is included to permit for example the installation of a card reader. If you want, you can use those to mount additional hard disk drives.

The chassis is designed for a total of up to thirteen 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hard disk drives in the Deep Silence 6. By using the 5.25 " to 3.5 " adapter, you can even install a total of 15 HDD. The hard drives are installed in special mounting carriages, which are designed to accommodate both 2.5" HDD / SSD as well as 3.5" HDD. Screws with rubber suspension are used to hold the drives in place.

A second pair of mounting holes is available to mount the hard disks in the carriages with the connectors pointing to the front, which can be useful, if frequent changes of the hard drives are on the agenda.

The Deep Silence 6 also features a modular 3-bay HDD cage, which allows you – by using additional, separately available cages – to boost the hard disk drive capacity of the Deep Silence 6 massively. The cage may also be mounted at different positions on the case bottom. This ensures that for example very thick radiators can be installed without space problems or give you the opportunity to mount even more HDD cages without interfering with the motherboard.
