Compact, Anti-Vibration Design
The ioPAC 8020--a rugged modular programmable controller with 5 or 9 I/O slots--supports a wide selection of I/O modules and comes with a DIN rail mount specifically designed to withstand severe vibrations. This RTU features an aluminum chassis for vandal protection, spring-type terminal blocks for gas-tight and vibration resistant wire contacts, and optional M12 connectors to ensure that your Ethernet connectors remain connected at all times.
Innovative C/C++ Programming with Timesaving I/O Access and Control The ioPAC 8020-C further features a Linux/GNU platform adapted to data acquisition and condition monitoring. The main advantage of this open C platform is its user-friendly SDK, which helps economize on installation and configuration overhead by reducing your programming workload for key areas like I/O control and condition monitoring, SCADA/DB interoperability, and improving smart communication controls.
Seamless Data Transmissions with Ethernet by-pass Function The ioPAC RTU controllers have a built-in Ethernet switch with 2 ports for cascading multiple ioPAC RTU controllers in a convenient daisy-chainin configuration. Together with a poweroff bypass mechanism, the ioPAC RTU controllers can maintain continuous, seamless data transmissions even when one of the RTUs fails.
