Directional Window-Mount Receiving Antenna (Dual-Band)
The YX028-PCS-CEL is a window mount signal antenna for areas where a signal antenna cannot be mounted outside or in an attic space. The antenna can be attached to a window using the suction cups (supplied) where a usable cell signal can be found. To setup the window mount antenna, follow the easy instructions below.
1. Locate the window where the strongest cell signal is found by placing your cell phone at the window and reading the number of bars indicated on the phone. You should be able to place and receive calls on your cell phone at the selected window.
2. Attach the antenna to the inside of the window using the suction cups with the cable pointing either up or down as shown above. The suction cup side of the antenna should be facing outside to receive cell signals.
3. Connect the coaxial cable to the window antenna and the zBoost base unit. The base unit should be located at least 15’ from the window antenna. If an error condition is indicated on the base unit, move the base unit further away from the window antenna. For additional information on this product, contact Customer Support at 800-871-1612
