The stand has a compartment below the enclosure that allows for the storage of the iPad Charging cube, as well as after market chargers, when used with Maclocks universal power cord. How Does it Lock?

The first component of the patent-pending iPad 2 security cover, is a hard clear polymer case. And since the iPad has no security slot, the case has one built in. In this way you can lock the

security cable to the case, and loop the cable’s other end around a fixed object (like a table). Locking the case and security cable together, acts as an effective deterrent.
