It can be powered by either of the following methods:

The Vibe-Dock uses a standard 3.5 mm cable, meaning it can be used with all MP3 players and any other device with a standard 3.5 mm headphone or speaker socket. It can also power most MP3 players via the charge port (some devices need to be put into sync mode to charge; the following players CANNOT be charged by this device: Sony Walkman series, Creative Zen players, iPod Nano 4th gen, iPod Touch 2nd gen, iPhone 3G).
