Special ventilation channels draw fresh air into the helmet over the custom-made uvex goggles, making fogging up impossible.

First automatic adaptation system for ski helmets
Because every driver has their own head and mind, the helmet needs to adapt to each individual shape – automatically. Having three different shell sizes in combination with the patented octo+ adaptation system make the uvex JAKK+ particularly versatile. octo+: is an elastic lamellae that encloses the head from all sides and contract after putting the helmet on. The interior of the helmet works like the arms of an octopus. This may sound strange at first, but is truly revolutionary when you take a closer look: octo+ is the FIRST, self-adapting system on the market. octo+ guarantees a comfortable fit in every situation with excellent hold and no slipping, thus increasing safety.
Style with a unique ventilation system
Not only is the JAKK+ fashionable, light-weight and extremely impact resistant, but the helmet gains extra points for a high level of wearing comfort. Fresh air flows from the front slits into the EPS shell through far-branching interior channels. It can then circulate to the interior of the helmet without a problem thanks to the small, additional intermediate space between the octo+ system and the interior shell. When used with the new JAKK TO and TOP goggles, an elaborate JAKK vent system ensures clear vision all day. Air flowing through the helmet is accelerated to create additional suction from below. Special openings at the lower side of the helmet suck air directly into the helmet and out of the goggle. This turns the helmet and goggle into a well ventilated and fully closed system – fogged up goggles are history.
Additional features of the JAKK+ include anti-allergenic washable helmet lining, a new holder for the goggle band and new pads for ears and neck. The moulded construction of the removable ear pads renders natural sound and conversations. Sounds are not filtered or dampened.
+Technology – more protection per gram
Hard shell helmets are very robust but relatively heavy…. until now. The JAKK+ solves the weight problem with an extremely hard but especially lightweight exterior shell with +technology. A specially developed thermoplastic material and an ultra-modern thin wall injection mould technology makes up the exterior shell of the JAKK+. This saves material and makes the helmet particularly light-weight. The interior of the helmet consists of the special EPS plastic, which distributes pressure points evenly and dampens in case of impact. As a result, the light-weight JAKK+ is impact- and shockproof and exceeds the high safety requirements of EN-standard 1077 B.
