The InternetRadio 1 provides worldwide free access to a huge number of Internet radio stations - and you don’t even need to connect it to a PC. All you need is Internet access, and the TechniSat InternetRadio 1. (Note that Internet access incurs additional provider-related costs).

Simple, easy operation
The InternetRadio 1 will be recognized automatically in your home network via Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), and will be readily accepted by many programmes (e.g. Windows Media Player 11) as a playback device for audio media.
The integrated installation assistant AutoInstall provides quick, reliable configuration of the InternetRadio 1. The installation assistant will guide you intuitively through the various dialogues. You can decide via remote control which mains source and which language setting you wish to use. Just as easily, a few keystrokes allow you to set your preferred network settings. Any passwords, such as those you might be using to protect your wireless home network, can also be entered via the remote control.

Impressive programme choice
All available radio stations are carefully sorted by country resp. by genre, and can easily be selected via the remote control. Naturally, you can also save your favourite programmes in a Favourites list. This provides even faster access to your preferred radio programmes.

Programme list - meticulously edited and regularly updated
The programme list of the InternetRadio 1 is editorially enhanced, and includes all the best Internet radio stations in the world - and also takes cognisance of transmission quality. In addition, TechniSat provides a programme list update free of charge at regular intervals, this can be downloaded either manually or automatically.
If your favourite station is not included, you can recommend that it be included in the programme list in future. The editorial team will assess the request, and if it is successful in obtaining the data of the station, it will be added to the radio data base. This database is then used to compile the current updated programme list. This list focuses mainly on radio stations represented in Europe. However, stations from around the world are also included (for instance, the list also includes radio stations from Russia, Asia and the USA). Whichever station you prefer, your favourite programme will always be available in good quality.

Functional, easily comprehensible information display
The large display of the InternetRadio 1, lit up in blue, shows the station name. In addition such further information as song title, artist and album name can also be displayed. Important technical details, such as transmission rate, data format and WLAN signal strength can also be displayed. Furthermore, you can use the remote control to call up and edit all the data relevant to the InternetRadio 1. There is also the option of calling up the information and settings of the InternetRadio 1 on a PC, using an Internet browser.

Brilliant reproduction of archived favourite songs
Apart from accessing broadcasts on the Internet, you can also use the InternetRadio 1 to play your complete audio archives directly from the hard drive of your PC, anywhere in your home, and in outstanding quality too. Simply allow access to a hard drive folder, or to the entire media library of your PC. The audio files can then be reproduced via the InternetRadio 1, without loss of quality, and via wireless if preferred. To make your hard drive folder or your media library accessible to the system, simply use the convenient, free Windows Media Player (version 11 or higher).

Easily integrated
The InternetRadio 1 can be connected to an existing stereo system in an instant, using the electrical or the optical digital audio outputs. For this purpose, the loudspeakers can be detached from the receiver unit.
