Cromargan protect®
WMF has developed a ground-breaking innovation in the cutlery market in the form of Cromargan protect®. Cutlery looks like new after years of use, as the surface is significantly more resistant to scratches than usual stainless steel. The scratch test provides the evidence. A kitchen fork leaves clear scratches behind on a plate made from stainless steel. The surface of Cromargan protect® remains almost unmarked.

Cutlery made from Cromargan protect® is extremely resistant against any signs of use. Even frequent use and cleaning in a dishwasher will not tarnish them. Even years later, a matt-finished surface is still matt and a polished surface still gleams. Cromargan protect® won the materialvision prize for innovative materials at Messe Frankfurt.
