Versatile vacuum sealing
The Miele vacuum sealing drawer is suitable for different sizes of bags and containers. The interior space is big enough for all sorts of food from small portions up to a maximum size of 250 x 350 mm and a height of up to 80 mm.

Push2open mechanism

Open with a light touch
Without a handle, but with a Push2Open mechanism, the vacuum sealing drawer integrates perfectly with other Miele built-in appliances. The drawer can even be opened without using your hands - an advantage, for example when carrying vacuum bags filled with food. Thanks to the spring-loaded front, the drawer opens fully and can be easily loaded and operated.

The built-in vacuum sealing drawer pulls right out for easy loading and unloading. Thanks to its stable telescopic runners it can be easily pulled out and pushed back in. The height of the drawer is 14 cm.

Longer storage life
Vacuum-sealed food stays fresh for longer. It can be stored in the PerfectFresh zone in the fridge on a short-term basis. Once vacuum sealed, fish and vegetables stay fresh for longer, without compromising on taste or quality. Vacuum sealing protects food against freezer burn, and against cross contamination of odours and flavours. Bread and rolls also remain fresh for much longer at room temperature once they have been vacuum sealed.

Dividing food into portions

A plus for freshness
If you divide your herbs, cheese or sliced meat into smaller portions, you will always have fresh produce to hand. Soft cheese remains fresh for considerably longer when it has been vacuum sealed. A portion of lasagne can be easily warmed up in the steam oven in the vacuum bag. Food for trips away can also be sealed in portions using the vacuum sealing drawer in order to save space.

Marinating

For the sake of taste
Do you like your meat and fish to have a really intense flavour? Marinate your food in your usual manner and then vacuum seal it with the Miele vacuum sealing drawer. By vacuum-sealing the taste of the marinade is greatly intensified, since flavours do not oxidize. The herbs and spices can work directly and in a very concentrated form on the food.

Vacuum sealing containers are ideal for vegetables and herbs that are sensitive to bruising as well as for food like sliced meat. They are simply connected to a special adapter in the vacuum sealing drawer, which then extracts all the air.

The vacuum sealing drawer offers the perfect solution: it seals the original packaging gently and securely on setting 1. This means that food is protected against contamination via taste or smell. So they're just as fresh the next time around.

Supplied with different sized plastic bags. They are food-safe, heat-resistant, boil-proof and tear-resistant and contain no plasticisers. Food is safely stored. Transfer of flavours is prevented. Additional vacuum sealing bags are available to purchase from the Miele shop.

Ideal conditions for longer storage life In the Miele vacuum sealing drawer oxygen and air are removed from the vacuum sealing bags. This creates the ideal conditions for the longer storage of food and is also the perfect way to prepare food for sous-vide cooking in a steam oven. A choice of three vacuum sealing settings is available to suit your needs. Setting 3 is ideal for marinating meat, whereas setting 1 is perfect for delicate food such as berries.
