24x10/100/100 BASE-T, 2xSFP, L2+, QoS, Black IC39480/IC39240 is a high density, high performance, energy saving infrastructure grade and center office network switch. It is a full featured layer 2 + (CLI,Telnet, and Web-enable GUI) management switch. The 48/24 ports suport full wire speed 10/100/1000 information transfer. The core switching engine can sustain 96/48 Gbps non-blocking throughput for applications including enterprise backbone, data center networking, high speed server, or network aggregation.

IC39480/IC39240 was designed to offer green technology network switching protect the end user's long term investment from the high cost of energy. The switch automatically negotiates the best speed, duplex (full or half), and wiring (Auto-Uplink) for optimal performance and automatically powers down to 65% energy consumption when the device is in linkdown status. All 48 RJ45 10/100/1000Mbps, 4/2 SFP ports are runtime swappable.

The IC39480/IC39240gives you flexible choices of either copper cable or fiber optical cable on ports G0 to G3 to uplink to core or backbone network. Using SFP MiniGBIC modules you can connect the network to a fiber optical network backbone or extend the transmission distance with the use of single mode /multiple-mode Gigabit fiber cables.

Smart Comprehensive Management
The L2+ management features tap into the 39480/39240 on board Command Line Interface and web configuration to enable Professional IT staff and regular users to maximize the benefits of L2+ switch capability. With additional L2+ features on ACL on IP and MAC layer, IC39480/IC39240 gives full control for LAN users to access the network and information.

For in-band management, choose web (HTTP), Telnet/CLI or SNMP/RMON. Through the console port, configure the switch out-of-band using a Cisco-like command lin interface. Monitor traffic by port mirroring. Control system start-up by choosing from configuration files and operating firmware. Management even extends to internal and environmental conditions (startup, watchdog timers, memory buffer, thermal and more).

For larger installations, with the available IntraCore Management Utility (sold separately), swiftly manage hundreds of IntaCore switches from a single Mocrosoft Windows -based application. Automatically discover compatible Asante' switches and schedule tasks (firmware updates, configuration file upload/download or even reset) for one switch or a group of switches.
